Safety peripherals used with the RUSSCO controller insure reliable, safe operation. The popular PB6 Curtis Pot Box with a micro switch is used for speed control. The ignition switch controls an SW-200 Albright Power Contactor to switch the propulsion voltage. A A15QS400-4 Ferraz Fuse provides protection for instantaneous high fault currents. A JLE-1-1-53-3-B4 Airpax Circuit Breaker provides long term overload protection with a manual cable on/off from the driver's seat.
